During history, the media has distorted and depicted what the best of a female overall body should resemble, and what is rarely dealt with is the nurture of these younger girls. A Voice That Carries aims at spreading awareness of what the purpose of a father can do to encourage balanced views for daughters, whilst also developing a change on an situation so predominant in today’s society.
“The society that at this time exists can be harmful to a developing female,” states Dr. Melissa Miller, PsyD Psychologist, who co-creates the sequence. “What can be a protecting aspect to girls are strong interactions with dad and mom and we have noticed a important gap in the assets out there to fathers, which is a disgrace simply because their purpose is just as critical.”
A Voice That Carries was made by Director Brett Culp and developed by inspiring persons, Dr. Heidi Limbrunner, Dr. Tracy Barcott, Dr. Melissa Miller, Dr. Lauren King, and Lindsey McKeon, all of which engage in integral roles in shaping and influencing the way ladies see on their own in society.
