‘Glee’ actress Naya Rivera missing after boat ride with 4-year-old son

Officials are looking for actress Naya Rivera after her four-calendar year-previous son was located by yourself on a boat she rented Wednesday afternoon, officials explained.

Rivera rented the boat about 1 p.m. and had an afternoon of swimming with her son, who was the very last to see her right before she went missing, explained Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Eric Buschow.

Buschow explained the boy got back again onto the boat after a swim but his mother did not follow. The four-calendar year-previous was located sleeping on the boat by himself by other boaters in the lake.

“He’s in fantastic wellbeing,” Bushow explained of Rivera’s son. The boy was to begin with documented by authorities to be a three-calendar year-previous lady. “The relatives is going through a really traumatic time right now.”

The look for for the 33-calendar year-previous “Glee” actress is continuing and will attract more means Thursday morning.

Buschow explained the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office will be joined by look for and rescue teams from neighboring counties and will deploy divers and air models in the morning. Officials were capable to confirm her id since they located her wallet and identification on the boat, Bushow explained.

Rivera performed Santana, a cheerleader in the musical-comedy “Glee” that aired on Fox from 2009 till 2015. Rivera appeared in 113 episodes of the series and dated co-star Mark Salling, who killed himself in 2018 after pleading responsible to child pornography expenses.
