Local skate shop art show displays art on Dickies jackets

Reyes built two jackets for the skate shop, just one of a wolf keeping a cherry and yet another of a cranium with blood drips and a tarantula.

“It was just a factor to get all the artists and mates with each other. There hasn’t been an art show in almost 10 yrs, and it was just a amazing way to get all people with each other,” Barkan said.

Although “This Way too Shall Move” was a 1-time party , the turnout of pals, loved ones and normal prospects was exciting. The present experienced its individual character, with visitors and artists lingering in the vicinity of the displays and hanging outdoors to take in and converse.

Barkan, Reyes and Lizotte all spoke fondly of the celebration and hope to showcase their artwork in future exhibits. 

When questioned about the chance of long term reveals very similar to “This As well Shall Move,” Barkan discussed wishing to take regional artwork outdoors of Tucson.

“I want to just take it to Los Angeles, New York and Japan,” Barkan said.  

BLX Skateshop is positioned on 197 E. Toole Ave., in the downtown spot. It is at the moment open up seven times a week from 12-7 p.m.
