Law enforcement feel somebody may have been throwing projectiles at transit buses along Hastings Road.
This early morning, Vancouver police issued a information launch revealing that 26 home windows have been broken on these autos since January 17.
Investigators believe that they all transpired in the early mornings together Hastings in between Gore and Cambie streets.
“The frequency of these incidents is increasing and we’re apprehensive someone could get hurt,” Const. Tania Visintin explained in the release.
The VPD is conducting an investigation with Transit Police.
“In every single of these scenarios, the damaged home windows weren’t right away found by the drivers or reported by the passenger,” Metro Vancouver Transit Law enforcement Const. Amanda Steed said in the very same release. “It was only right after the motorists concluded their shift that the hurt was found.”
