The ‘Elysium’ director confirms he has begun to generate the script for ‘District 10’ though the ‘Power’ actress has been included to Eve’s upcoming hip-hop television sequence.

Author/director Neill Blomkamp is functioning on a substantially-predicted sequel to his cult 2009 alien invasion film “District nine“.
The South African filmmaker has certain followers District ten is “coming” in a article on Twitter on (26Feb21), revealing he’s functioning with actor Sharlto Copley and writer Terri Tatchell on the venture.
“District ten screenplay also becoming composed by @sharlto @terriatchell and I. Its coming…,” he wrote.
“District nine”, starring Copley, was critically acclaimed and picked up 5 Oscar nominations.
Blomkamp teased the film back in 2017, creating, “I want to go back to that world and notify the rest of the story with Wikus and Christopher. The challenge suitable now is that I have many other initiatives and thoughts that I also want to get the job done on and total… and most importantly, the correct suitable explanation to make District ten wants be quite clear.”
“The first film was dependent so explicitly on genuine themes and subject areas from South Africa that influenced me greatly rising up there, that we have to have to make certain the subsequent film does not ignore that.”
In one more information, “Electrical power” and “Infamous” star Naturi Naughton has joined Eve in Zahir McGhee‘s new hip-hop drama sequence “Queens“.
The actress and the rapper will direct the cast as the previous members of all-girl group the Horrible B**tches, who try to regain their glory with a reunion.
Naughton will portray the band’s co-founder, a devout Catholic living a peaceful everyday living in Montana with her partner.
She isn’t really new to the world of girl groups – before she grew to become an actress, Naturi was a member of pop trio 3LW.
