Nick Cannon’s 5-thirty day period-outdated son Zen has died from brain cancer.
Through a taping of The Nick Cannon Clearly show on Tuesday — which Cannon referred to as a “celebration of lifestyle” — the former America’s Got Expertise host told the viewers that his toddler son died final weekend from problems relevant to a brain tumour.
“This is a specific clearly show committed to my wonderful son, Zen,” the actor reported.
Cannon’s son had a ailment named hydrocephalus. In accordance to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, hydrocephalus takes place when fluid builds up in the brain’s cavities, creating them to widen and put force on the brain’s tissues.
Zen was born in June 2021. About two months later, Cannon and his associate Alyssa Scott took their son to the health care provider after noticing that his head was enlarged and his respiratory irregular. The check-up led to the analysis of a malignant tumour.

Even though Cannon’s son underwent operation to have a shunt inserted — allowing fluid buildup prompted by the tumour to drain — his situation deteriorated around American Thanksgiving weekend.
On Sunday, Cannon mentioned he and Scott took their son to the ocean in California, and that Cannon held him “for the final time.”
“I failed to know how I was going to manage currently,” Cannon explained to the audience. “But I desired to grieve with my loved ones.”
Cannon has seven little ones — which include six-thirty day period old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 4-yr-aged son Golden, 11-thirty day period-outdated daughter Powerful Queen, and 10-12 months-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. Immediately after his announcement, Cannon invited therapist Dr. Laura Berman on his display to talk about grieving the reduction of a youngster.
