Some of music’s major names descended on New York City’s legendary Central Park for the “We Really like NYC: The Homecoming Concert” on Saturday to execute for a vaccinated crowd of 60,000.
The live performance was intended to be “a celebration of New York City’s comeback” after a hard 17 months marked by the Covid-19 pandemic and to “market health, safety, and fairness,” according to a news release for the demonstrate. It aired exclusively on CNN.
Nearly three hrs after the party started off, attendees ended up evacuated thanks to severe weather conditions ahead of Hurricane Henri’s expected Sunday landfall.
