LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Ellen DeGeneres, 1 of America’s most popular Tv set personalities, faced a barrage of criticism on Wednesday following comparing her self-isolation in a multimillion-dollar mansion to remaining in jail.

DeGeneres, whose everyday television converse demonstrate had been off the air for a few months since of a remain-at-property buy, returned on Wednesday with a demonstrate filmed by her spouse, actress Portia De Rossi, from 1 of their California houses.
“One issue that I’ve realized from remaining in quarantine is that people today – this is like remaining in jail, is what it is,” quipped DeGeneres, who was filmed in an armchair looking out on large, grassy lawns and mountains.
