Taylor Swift calls release of old songs ‘shameless greed’

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Taylor Swift on Thursday revived her feud with her former document enterprise, complaining that the launch of a 2008 collection of recordings for a radio show was “tasteless.”

“I want to thank my admirers for building me informed that my former document label is placing out an ‘album’ of dwell performances of mine tonight. … This launch is not authorised by me,” Swift informed her 131 million Instagram followers.

The album, “Live From Apparent Channel Stripped 2008,” is a collection of recordings Swift created for a radio show when she was eighteen, the “Fearless” singer said.

She termed the launch by the Significant Device Label Team “another circumstance of shameless greed in the time of Coronavirus. So tasteless, but pretty clear.”

Significant Device declined to comment on Thursday.

Swift recorded her initial six albums with Significant Device prior to leaving in 2018 for Universal Audio Team.
