Taylor Swift debunks ‘Woodvale’ album rumors

Sorry, Swifties, a surprise album is not dropping quickly.

On Monday, Taylor Swift dealt with latest rumors swirling more than an alleged third album, “Woodvale,” during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Stay.”

“Okay, effectively, this requires a little bit of explanation,” the 31-12 months-previous singer commenced.

“I have a tendency to be type of annoyingly top secret-agenty about dropping clues and hints and Easter eggs and it is extremely bothersome but it is entertaining for lovers and it is entertaining for me for the reason that they like to decide up on matters. And they’ll observe tons of matters in tunes movies or images or whatever, and then sometimes, I take it as well significantly, and I make a slip-up,” Swift continued.

About the summer season, Swifties noticed the phrase “Woodvale” written in the trees on a black-and-white album cover of “Folklore.” According to the “Champagne Problems” crooner, it was a misstep.

“When I was producing ‘Folklore,’ the album that arrived out back again in July, I was as well scared to even unveil the title of the album to even my closest teammates and administration. I did not notify any person the album title right up until right ahead of it arrived out,” Swift discussed.

“And so I arrived up with a fake codename that experienced the similar total of letters as ‘Folklore,’ Chose a random name, selected ‘Woodvale.’ Required to see how it would glance on the album handles, mocked them up, and then resolved, I really don’t actually want to have a title on the album handles and we forgot to take the fake codename off of 1 of them,” she continued.

When Kimmel pressed, “Is that definitely true,” Swift replied, “Yes.”

Swift added that her ninth studio album, “Evermore,” also experienced a codename of “November,” but they took it off all of the mockups.

“We discovered our lesson,” the singer stated.

Kimmel then theorized a different possible album, but Swift shot him down.

“Jimmy, I’m so weary,” she stated. “I’ve weary myself out.”
