White was 5 months more mature than Arthur and the oldest of the four Golden Girls stars, but she outlived them all by more than a 10 years prior to her demise on Dec. 31, just 17 days shy of her 100th birthday.
Estelle Getty died at 84 on July 22, 2008, obtaining battled Lewy overall body dementia for almost 10 yrs. “Our mother-daughter connection was one of the best comedian duos at any time, and I will miss out on her,” Arthur mentioned in a statement at the time.
“The only consolation at this second is that although Estelle has moved on, Sophia will always be with us,” White explained. Arthur died April 25, 2009, at 86 and McClanahan, the youngest Golden Woman, died at 76 on June 3, 2010.
In an update for a new paperback edition of her ebook in 2010, White wrote that shedding all three of her co-stars, like, “just just lately, my beloved Rue McClanahan, has been extremely challenging to choose. When you get the job done so closely collectively, for so very long, and are blessed with these kinds of achievements, you wind up locked at the heart.”
