Two drivers injured in collision on Port Mann Bridge

A two-automobile collision on a bridge in Metro Vancouver has resulted in equally motorists remaining injured and targeted visitors staying rerouted.  

Close to 10:20 a.m. these days (September 27), unexpected emergency products and services and law enforcement responded to a report of a “significant collision” that occurred in eastbound lanes of Freeway 1 on the Port Mann Bridge.

In accordance to B.C. Highway Patrol, a delivery-form vehicle rear-ended a disabled pickup truck.

The pickup truck driver had been outdoors of the motor vehicle at the time of the collision and was critically hurt.

In addition, the shipping car driver, who was injured as well, had to be extricated by emergency crews.

B.C. Freeway Patrol, the Felony Collision Investigation team, and the Built-in Collision Evaluation and Reconstruction Support are all investigating.

B.C. Freeway Patrol stated that all eastbound via lanes are shut till further recognize as the investigation continues on.

All eastbound targeted visitors is remaining rerouted to the 152^nd Road lanes to Surrey, which reconnect with Highway 1 south of the Fraser River.
