Vancouver-based Lululemon replaces Hudson’s Bay as Team Canada outfitter for Olympics

A Vancouver-primarily based athleticwear firm has come to be the new provider of clothing and extras for Canada’s Olympic teams.

On September 23, the Canadian Olympic Committee and Canadian Paralympic Committee named Lululemon as Crew Canada’s official outfitter.

The partnership will span four Olympics game titles, starting with the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, and will keep on until finally the 2028 Summertime Olympics in Los Angeles.

The company will give apparel for opening ceremonies, medal ceremonies, closing ceremonies, media alternatives, and Athletes’ Village use.

Lululemon

Lululemon has already began promoting Olympic goods, like the Future Legacy Bag, with 10 % of gross sales from every bag to help the Canadian Olympic Basis and Paralympic Foundation of Canada.

A selection of Workforce Canada apparel and accessories are also turned available on the net and in outlets throughout Canada, as of September 23.

The Crew Canada athlete package (with more designs out there for consumers) will be launched in October.  

This new contract indicates that Lululemon will replace Hudson’s Bay, which has been the formal clothing store due to the fact the 2006 Winter season Olympics in Italy. Prior to that partnership, Roots equipped Workforce Canada, starting up with the 1998 Winter season Games in Japan.
