Actor Daniel Mays has told BBC Radio 5 Live he “wholeheartedly” disagrees with Sir Anthony Hopkins’ views on drama universities.
Speaking to GQ journal past thirty day period, the 83-calendar year-outdated star stated that performing faculties are not well worth shelling out for and that they are often established up by “unsuccessful” thespians.
“Really do not waste your revenue. They’re failed actors that established themselves up as gurus,” he said.
On Wednesday, Daniel Mays informed presenter Nihal Arthanayake he assumed the two-time Oscar winner was “way off the mark”.
“It provides you the tools of the trade to enhance the expertise you previously have,” he reported. “And it will introduce you to distinctive writers.”
