James Hough‘s reaction to co-star Isabelle “Izzy” Wouters‘ coming out announcement couldn’t be sweeter.

Before this month, the Down below Deck stewardess turned deckhand came out as lesbian on social media. Even though Izzy’s announcement may’ve been surprising for Down below Deck enthusiasts, it was not news for her co-star and previous bunkmate.

In reality, in an unique chat with E! News, James discovered that Izzy experienced previously shared this data with him.

“I sort of previously knew about that,” the deckhand shared with us. “She did say it to me…and I was super content for her.”

While James has stayed away from looking at social media feedback amid Down below Deck’s season 8 airing, his mother did share 1 write-up about Izzy’s coming out that gave him a chuckle.

James dished, “My mother informed me, I feel she checked on Twitter, that Izzy naturally came out and there was a remark declaring, ‘Not shocked! Following keeping in a place with James for 8 months, she likely would not want to once again.'”
