One motorcyclist killed, another injured in collision with vehicle near Hope, B.C.

A range of car or truck-associated injuries and fatalities took put in the Lower Mainland more than the weekend, and just one of the most up-to-date collisions reported by law enforcement associated bikes in the Fraser Valley.

B.C. Freeway Patrol Chilliwack mentioned in a information release issued nowadays (September 27) that all-around 11:04 a.m. on September 25, unexpected emergency expert services and officers responded to a report of a lethal collision on Highway 7 at Chawathil Road in Hope, B.C.

According to B.C. Highway Patrol Chilliwack, an eastbound Mazda experienced attempted to pass a different eastbound car or truck but collided with 1 of two westbound bikes.

The 1st bike then fell down and threw its rider, and was hit by the 2nd motorbike, which also threw its rider.

Both of those motorcycles finished up in a ditch.

Tragically, the very first rider was killed in the collision. Meanwhile, the next rider was taken to clinic with what are considered to be non-existence-threatening injuries.

B.C. Freeway Patrol said the Mazda driver, a lady in her 20s from Port Coquitlam, was not wounded and remained at the scene.

The lead to of the collision continues to be beneath investigation, but impairment has been dominated out as a contributing variable.

Meanwhile, a murder investigation is underway following an unknown entire body was found in a truck uncovered on hearth in Maple Ridge on September 25.
