British queen’s husband, Prince Philip, admitted to hospital

Britain’s ninety nine-yr-previous Prince Philip has been admitted to a London medical center right after feeling unwell, Buckingham Palace said Wednesday.

The palace said the partner of Queen Elizabeth II was admitted to the personal King Edward VII Healthcare facility on Tuesday night.

It termed the admission “a precautionary measure” taken on the information of Philip’s physician. The palace said Philip is predicted to continue to be in the medical center for a several days of “observation and rest.”

Philip, also known as the Duke of Edinburgh, retired from public responsibilities in 2017 and rarely appears in public.

Throughout England’s latest coronavirus lockdown, he has been being at Windsor Castle, west of London, with the queen.

Philip married the then-Princess Elizabeth in 1947 and is the longest-serving royal consort in British record. He and the queen have 4 children, eight grandchildren and nine terrific-grandchildren.
