(Reuters) – Matteo Bocelli, the son of renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, on Friday unveiled a new version of “The Lion King” film ballad “Can You Feel the Appreciate Tonight,” the 1st solitary from an album of classical variations of Disney tunes.
The total “Disney Goes Classical” album will debut in October, Walt Disney Co and Common Tunes Group’s Decca Records stated in a assertion.
The album attributes tunes from Disney movies like “The Jungle Reserve,” “Frozen” and “Aladdin” and songs by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Other performers involve American soprano Renee Fleming.
Bocelli, 22, previously sang a duet with his father, “Fall on Me,” which performed all through the closing credits of the 2018 Disney film “The Nutcracker and The 4 Realms.”
“Can You Feel the Appreciate Tonight” was published by Elton John and Tim Rice and gained an Academy Award for best initial music in 1994.
