Prince Philip: Joanna Lumley on duke’s ‘overlooked’ kindness and ‘eagle gaze’

Actor and activist Joanna Lumley has shared her memories of Prince Philip, declaring that his kindness was “very typically missed”.

Ms Lumley informed the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show about the “wonderful satisfaction” of attending dinners and functions with the Duke of Edinburgh.

She claimed “very little escaped his eagle gaze” – as she found out when she after turned up late to a charity celebration.
